Description
Geological engineering involves geology, civil engineering, and fields such as mining, forestry and geography. These engineers apply earth sciences to human problems. Speciality areas include studies of rock and soil slope stability for projects to environmental studies and planning for construction sites to groundwater studies ,hazard investigations and finding fossil fuel and mineral deposits.
Qualifications
For becoming a Geologist, you must have a bachelor's degree in geology, earth sciences, or some related scientific field. You can then pursue a master's in the field, which is helpful!
